Principia College is the winner of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's Sportsmanship Award for the 2013-14 academic year. This marks the second time since the award was first presented (2010-11) that Principia has received the award.

Principia won five team sportsmanship awards this past year, Men's Cross-Country, Women's Cross-Country, Volleyball, Men's Tennis and Softball; the most of any school in the conference. In addition they finished in the top three of seven of 11 sports that were sponsored. Principia appeared on 49 of 88 ballots and finished with 187 total points.

The SLIAC overall Sportsmanship Award was created in 2010-11 and is based on voting from the 12 team Sportsmanship Awards. In the team Sportsmanship Award voting, each individual school votes for three schools with points awarded on a 5-3-1 basis. The school with the highest point total is declared the winner of the SLIAC overall Sportsmanship Award.
