Mosby and Bensinger Named Final Players of the Week for 2014

SLIAC/DIAMOND SPORTS BASEBALL HITTER OF THE WEEK
Ryan Mosby, Spalding University

Mosby, a junior from Louisville, Ky., is this week's Diamond Sports Hitter of the Week. Mosby hit .500 in three games last week going 4-for-8 from the plate. He was 2-for-3 with an RBI and one run scored in a win over Centre and followed with hits in each game of a double header against Westminster. On the week Mosby finished with two runs scored, two runs batted in and two stolen bases in addition to his four hits.

SLIAC/DIAMOND SPORTS BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Jack Bensinger, Webster University

Bensinger, a junior from Los Angeles, Calif., had an impressive start against Westminster last week in picking up Diamond Sports Pitcher of the Week honors. Bensinger threw nine games but was unable to record the win as the game remained tied until the 19th inning. Bensinger allowed just two hits and no runs in his nine innings of work while striking out four and walking none.
