SLIAC Players of the Week - Feb. 9
This week's SLIAC Players of the Week picked up the honors in varying ways but hail from the same school. Eureka College's Seth Wickert is the Men's Player of the Week while Emily Camden is the Women's Player of the Week. Wickert, filled up the boxscore with a triple double while Camden matched a school record shooting the ball with eight three-pointers in a game.

SLIAC MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK Wickert, a senior guard from Macomb, Ill., helped facilitate his team's offense in helping the Red Devils to a pair of conference wins last week. Wickert recorded double digit assists in the two games including a triple double in a 74-55 win over MacMurray. In that game Wickert finished with 13 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists as well as adding six steals. He followed with 10 assists and three steals in a win over Greenville. On the week Wickert averaged 8.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 10.5 assists while committing just two total turnovers.

SLIAC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK Camden, a junior from Green Valley, Ill., led her team in scoring in two conference wins last week including matching a school record for three's in a game. Camden started the week with 21 points in her team's win over MacMurray, knocking down five three pointers. Against Greenville Camden netted 31 points on 8-of-15 shooting with eight three pointers, tying the school record for three's in a game. On the week Camden averaged 26.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per game while shooting 55.2 percent from the field including 54.2 percent from behind the arc.

Other Notables:
- Tanner Gentges, Westminster College (Men's Basketball) Gentges led the Blue Jays in scoring with 19 points in a win over Blackburn, going 6-of-7 from the field including 5-of-6 from three point range.
- Brandon Goeing, Spalding University (Men's Basketball) Goeing led the Golden Eagles with 20 points against MacMurray, going 5-of-6 from three point range.
- Karla Johnson, Principia College (Women's Basketball) Johnson recorded two double doubles last week including 16 points and 17 rebounds in a win over Webster.
- Briana Rae, Blackburn College (Women's Basketball) Rae became Blackburn's all-time leader in rebounds last week and finished her game against Westminster with 24 points and 13 rebounds.
