The final SLIAC Players of the Week for the 2014-15 basketball season are from MacMurray College, Clayton Whitlock and from Spalding University, Jessica Guy.

SLIAC MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK Whitlock, a senior from Springfield, Ill., put together a pair of 20 point efforts last week helping him maintain his efforts to win the 2014-15 SLIAC scoring title. Whitlock netted 27 points on 11-of-14 shooting in a win over Iowa Wesleyan. The following game Whitlock scored 22 points, on 7-of-12 shooting, marking his eighth 20 point game this season. On the week Whitlock averaged 24.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while shooting 69.2 percent from the field. He was also 13-of-14 from the free-throw line and added three assists in his two games played.

SLIAC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK Guy, a senior from Louisville, Ky., helped Spalding wrap up the 2014-15 SLIAC regular season title with a pair of conference wins last week. Guy scored 19 points in a win over Webster, reaching the 1,000 point mark for her career. She followed with a game high 26 points and 16 rebounds in an overtime win over Westminster. In that contest Guy converted a three-point play with 41-seconds left in regulation to even the score and send the game into extra time. On the week Guy averaged 22.5 points and 15.0 rebounds per game while shooting 61.3 percent from the floor.

Other Notables:
- Richard Dorhauer, Fontbonne University (Men's Basketball) Dorhauer was red hot shooting this week, shooting 80-percent from the field while averaging 11.5 points in two games and helping his team to a pair of wins.
- Megan Duisen, MacMurray College (Women's Basketball) Duisen recorded five blocked shots in two games last week, setting a new MacMurray single season record for blocked shots.
- Emmie Haring, Fontbonne University (Women's Basketball) Haring dished out 14 assists in two games last week, setting a new program record for single season assists.
- Reed Rusten, Blackburn College (Men's Basketball) Rusten scored a career high 30 points in helping his team to a win over Greenville. Rusten went 11-of-14 from the field with seven three-pointers.
