SLIAC MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
SHANE WITTERS-HICKS - PRINCIPIA COLLEGE

Witters-Hicks, a junior from Golden, Colo., is this week's SLIAC Men's Cross Country Player of the Week. Witters-Hicks captured a second place finish in the Illinois College meet this past weekend, competing in a field of 65 runners. Witters-Hicks completed the 8K course in a time of 26:44, making a move on the back half of the course; jumping up from 25th place. This marks the third time this season Witters-Hicks has won the conference weekly award.

SLIAC WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
MOLLY WORKS - GREENVILLE COLLEGE

Works, a senior from Lenzburg, Ill., is the SLIAC Women's Cross Country Player of the Week for the second consecutive week after helping her team to a third place finish at the Illinois College Invitational. Works finished 28th in a mixed division race that featured 165 total runners. She completed the 6K course in a time of 23:49, her season best time by 39-seconds. Of the runners that finished ahead of her 16 were Division I runners and another two were Division II competitors.

SLIAC MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK (OFFENSIVE)
ALEX PHILLIPS - FONTBONNE UNIVERSITY

Phillips, a sophomore from Chesterfield, Mo., helped the Griffins to three wins on the week; including a pair of conference wins. Phillips assisted on his team's first goal against Spalding and then netted the game winner just 33-seconds later. On Sunday, in a non-conference contest, Phillips tallied a pair of goals in his team's 3-0 win, including the game-winner. On the week Phillips finished with three goals and one assist for seven total points.

SLIAC MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK (DEFENSIVE)
BLAKE HAUSMAN - WESTMINSTER COLLEGE

Hausman, a sophomore from Columbia, Mo., picked up his second SLIAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week award this season by helping his team remain undefeated in conference play with two more wins last week. Hausman and the Blue Jays recorded two shutouts on the week, giving them three in a row and eight for the season. Hausman led a defense that allowed just nine total shots and only three shots on goal during the two wins last week. In addition he added two goals in his team's win over Webster.

SLIAC WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK (OFFENSIVE)
DANI PEARCE - GREENVILLE COLLEGE

Pearce, a freshman from Springfield, Mo., led the Panthers attack in picking up two conference wins last week. Against Principia Pearce netted the game winning goal in a 2-0 win. She followed with two goals and two assists in her team's win over Eureka, extending her team winning streak to three games. On the week she finished with four goals and two assists for 10 total points. She currently ranks third in the conference in total points this season.

ASHLEY MESS - WEBSTER UNIVERSITY

Mess, a senior from St. Louis, Mo., was a stalwart on the back line for the Gorloks as they picked up two more conference wins to remain undefeated in conference play. Mess set up the game winning goal in a 2-1 win over Westminster. She was part of a defense that allowed just five total shots and three shots on goal in the two wins, including a shutout win over MacMurray. She added two goals in the win over MacMurray as well.

SLIAC VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK (OFFENSIVE)
MORGAN HAUSER - MACMURRAY COLLEGE

Hauser, a senior from Moline, Ill., was impressive in her two matches last week, averaging 4.4 kills per set. She finished with 19 kills and just five errors against Principia, adding 21 digs. Against Spalding Hauser put down a season high 21 kills with just two errors on 39 swings, hitting .487 during the match while adding two total blocks. On the week she hit .330 with 40 kills and only seven errors; accounting for 4.8 points per set.

SLIAC VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK (DEFENSIVE)
MARLEE LINDSTROM - BLACKBURN COLLEGE

Lindstrom, a junior from Maquoketa, Iowa, helped the Beavers to a pair of wins last week including a conference win over Eureka. Lindstrom started the week with 53 digs in a five set win over North Central. She followed with 22 digs against Dubuque and closed out her week with 32 digs against Eureka. On the week Lindstrom averaged 8.92 digs per set, finishing with 107 digs in 12 sets.
