SLIAC Players of the Week - November 2
This week's St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Players of the Week are: Lexi Collier, Kayla Dye, Kelsey Kaiser, Allyson Mitchell, Alex Phillips, and Tanner Touslee.

SLIAC MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK (OFFENSIVE) Phillips, a sophomore from Chesterfield, Mo., helped his team secure a final spot into the SLIAC Tournament by winning two games last week. Phillips tallied two goals in his team's 3-1 win over Principia, including the game winner. Needing a win in their final game, Phillips sparked a Griffin attack that defeated Iowa Wesleyan; recording a hat trick in the win and scoring three goals on just three shots. On the week he buried five goals on just eight shots for 10 points. |

SLIAC MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK (DEFENSIVE) Touslee, a sophomore from Olathe, Kan., anchored a Blue Jay defense that recorded a pair of shutouts against two of the top teams in the conference. Touslee and the Blue Jays blanked tournament bound Greenville, with Touslee adding two assists in the win. They followed with a 3-0 shutout win over Spalding, who just missed the tournament; adding another assist. On the week Touslee had three assists and helped extend the Blue Jays shutout streak to six games. |

SLIAC WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK (OFFENSIVE) Dye, a sophomore from St. Louis, Mo., picked up SLIAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after helping her team clinch first place in the SLIAC standings and earn a #1 seed in the upcoming tournament. Down 1-0 against Greenville Dye helped set up the game-tying goal early in the second-half. Then with just 2:22 left in overtime Dye buried the game-winner, her sixth goal of the season. |

SLIAC WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK (DEFENSIVE) Kaiser, a junior from Louisvlle, Ky., made the most of her only appearance in net last week; picking a key 2-1 win over Westminster. Kaiser made seven saves in the contest including stopping a penalty kick and allowed just one goal. She finished with an .875 save percentage and with the win helped her team secure the #2 seed in the SLIAC Tournament.

SLIAC VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK (OFFENSIVE) Mitchell, a sophomore from Gurnee, Ill., picked up weekly honors after helping her team notch two conference wins last week. Mitchell led the Panther attack, averaging 3.67 kills per set. She totaled 15 kills in a sweep of MacMurray, adding five service aces. She followed with seven kills and two more aces in a sweep of Fontbonne. On the week she finished with 22 kills and averaged 5.3 points per set with seven service aces. |

SLIAC VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK (DEFENSIVE) Collier, a senior from Weston, Mo., is the SLIAC Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week after a strong performance at the net last week. Collier finished with 18 total blocks last week. In addition she hit .372 with 56 kills in five matches. Collier helped her team pick up a key win over Webster and followed with seven blocks against Dubuque. She then added three more blocks against Coe and Augustana and four blocks against North Park. Collier currently ranks fourth in the league in blocks per set this season. |

- Christin Miller, Blackburn College (Women's Soccer) Miller recorded three goals and two assists in two games last week, netting the game-winner in both games.
- Jordan Miller, Iowa Wesleyan University (Volleyball) Miller put down 12 kills while hitting .550 in a win over Eureka last week.
- Rachel Nelson, Webster University (Volleyball) Nelson had two matches with six total blocks last week, both against SLIAC opponents.
- Brendan Shields, Webster University (Men's Soccer) Shields tallied two goals, including the game-winner, in his team's win over Greenville; helping the Gorloks clinch a spot into the SLIAC Tournament.
- Emily Tippetts, Principia College (Volleyball) Tippetts totaled 13 kills with no errors in two conference wins last week.
- Brady Thomas, Eureka College (Men's Soccer) Thomas close out his season with back to back games with two goals. He tallied two goals in a win over Emmaus and then wrapped up his season with two more goals in a win over Blackburn; finishing the year as the conference's leading goal scorer.
