This week's St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Players of the Week are Nick Trisko, from Spalding University; and Michaela Balducci, from Eureka College.

SLIAC MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEKf Trisko, a junior from Lexington, Ky., is the SLIAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week after helping Spalding to a win in their season opener, while making his team debut. Trisko, a transfer, led all scorers with 25 points and 15 rebounds; leading the Golden Eagles to an 85-82 road win over Berea College. Trisko shot 9-of-17 from the field and 7-of-11 from the free-throw line. He grabbed four offensive rebounds and recorded two blocked shots and one steal as well.

SLIAC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK Balducci, a junior from Eureka, Ill., recorded a double-double in her team's opening game, against Illinois College. Balducci netted 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds including two offensive rebounds. She added four assists and three steals as well as one blocked shot.

Other Notables:
- Kody Ettinger, Fontbonne University (Men's Basketball) Ettinger provided a spark for the Griffins, scoring 21 points in just 20 minutes of action off the bench. Ettinger knocked down 5-of-7 three-point shots in helping his team in a come from behind win over Morthland.
