SLIAC/DIAMOND SPORTS HITTER OF THE WEEK - FEB. 27
MATT WOLLNIK, WEBSTER UNIVERSITY

Matt Wollnik wasted little time in asserting himself this spring fro the Gorloks with an explosive first week of the 2017 season. Wollnik, a senior shortstop from Naperville, Ill., hit .429 with two home runs and seven runs batted in last week, helping Webster to two wins. He drove in five in the week's final game, against Millsaps. On the week he finished 6-of-14 with five runs scored and 1.000 slugging percentage.
