This week's SLIAC Players of the Week include Elena Bloma, from Webster University; Kyle Collins, from Westminster College; Jessica Diehl, from Spalding University, Allison Ferguson, from Webster University; Blake Hausman, from Westminster College; Jessie Kuykendall, from Westminster College; Zach Matthiesen, from Principia College; and Katie O'Toole, from Webster University.

SLIAC MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK Zach Matthiesen, a junior from Flanders, N.J., is this week's SLIAC Men's Cross Country Player of the Week. Matthiesen finished fourth overall in the Cowbell Classic, a meet that featured several conference programs. Matthiesen was the top finisher among SLIAC performers in a field of 143 runners. He finished with a time of 25:37 and averaged a 5:09 mile over the 8K course, setting a new personal best time. This marks the second time this season that Matthiesen has earned Player of the Week honors. |

SLIAC WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK Jessie Kuykendall, a sophomore from Warsaw, Mo., picks up her fourth SLIAC Women's Cross Country Player of the Week award this season after taking home the honor once more this week. Kuykendall set a new personal best time of 22:50 on the 6K Cowbell Classic course. She averaged a 6:07 mile during the race and finished second overall in a field of 140 runners.

SLIAC MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK (OFFENSIVE) Kyle Collins is this week's SLIAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Collins, a senior from St. Louis, Mo., guided the Blue Jays to a pair of conference wins last week. Collins set up the only goal in his team's 1-0 win over Webster, feeding Drake Trease with just seven minutes left on the clock. Collins got the offense going early in his next game, a 6-0 win over Eureka, netting a goal just three-minutes into the game en route to four Westminster first-half goals. He also added an assist on the game's third goal. On the week Collins finished with a goal and two assists, and was a part of two game winning goals. |

SLIAC MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK (DEFENSIVE) Blake Hausman, a junior from Columbia, Mo., is this week's SLIAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. Hausman anchored the Blue Jays defense which recorded two shutout wins over conference opponents and limited their foes to just three combined shots on goal in the two games. Hausman and the Blue Jay defense kept the league's leading scorer under wraps in a 6-0 win over Eureka and blanked Webster in a 1-0 win that handed the Gorloks their first conference loss of the year. The Blue Jays defense held both opponents to less than half their average shots per game during their contests. |

SLIAC WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK (OFFENSIVE) Allison Ferguson is this week's SLIAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after powering the Gorlok offense to a pair of conference wins last week and extending the team's winning streak to three games. Ferguson, a senior from Highland, Ill., netted five goals in her team's two wins and now has a team high seven goals on the season. Ferguson scored two goals, including the game winner, of a 5-0 win over Westminster. She followed by netting a hat trick, including another game-winner, in a win over MacMurray. On the week Ferguson scored her five goals on just nine shots. |

SLIAC WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK (DEFENSIVE) Elena Bloma, a junior from St. Louis, Mo., is the SLIAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. Bloma, a defender, routinely marks the opposition's top player and she played her role perfectly this week in helping the Gorloks pick up two shutout wins. Bloma and the Gorloks limited Westminster to just three shots, two on goal, in their 5-0 win. Bloma then took on the SLIAC's leading scorer from MacMurray, and held her and her team without a shot in the game. |

SLIAC VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK (DEFENSIVE) Katie O'Toole, a senior from St. Louis, Mo., is this week's SLIAC Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week. O'Toole averaged 7.3 digs per set over three matches last week for the Gorloks. She had a high of 29 digs in a four set win over Principia and reached 20 digs in all three matches. In her team's win over Iowa Wesleyan O'Toole became Webster's career leader in digs, surpassing 1,700 in her four year career. On the week she finished with 73 digs in 10 sets. |

- Kaitlyn Butler, Spalding University (Women's Soccer) Butler not only helped her team pick up a 4-0 shutout win over Blackburn but scored her first collegiate goal in the game from her defender position.
- Katelyn Cosgrove, Spalding University (Volleyball) Cosgrove recorded 37 digs, averaging 7.4 per set, in a five set loss to Greenville.
- Riley Flynn, Webster University (Men's Cross Country) Flynn cut nearly two-minutes off his previous time at the Cowbell Classic course, finishing 17th overall with a 26:54.
- Sophia Hathaway, Principia College (Volleyball) Hathaway totaled 31 digs, averaging 6.2 per set, in her team's five set win over Fontbonne.
- Megan Illig, Webster University (Women's Cross Country) Illig ran the second fastest time ever by a Gorlok at the Cowbell Classic, finishing with a time of 24:26.
- Emily Lascody, MacMurray College (Volleyball) Lascody totaled 13 service aces in four matches last week.
- Joey Lesher, Spalding University (Men's Soccer) Lesher helped the Golden Eagles remain undefeated in conference play with two conference wins last week; including scoring the game winning goal and anchoring the defense in a 1-0 win over Blackburn.
- Allyson Mitchell, Greenville College (Volleyball) Mitchell averaged 3.76 kills per set over five matches last week including a high of 17 kills against Kenyon.
- Tony Pitaro, Fontbonne University (Men's Soccer) Pitaro recorded 14 saves in three games last week, including seven saves in a 1-0 loss to #8 WashU, while also notching a shutout win over Iowa Wesleyan.
- Savannah Sells, Greenville College (Volleyball) Sells recorded 20 total blocks last week with a high of 10 in a five set win over Spalding.
- Jory Siebenmorgen, Webster University (Volleyball) Siebenmorgen averaged 4.3 kills per set last week including a high of 20 kills in a win over Principia.
- Dee Dee Sliter, Spalding University (Women's Soccer) Sliter scored her second consecutive overtime game winning goal when she buried the game winner in a 3-2 win over Principia.
- Meredith Wendt, Fontbonne University (Women's Soccer) Wendt tallied three goals and two assists in a pair of conference wins last week, scoring three goals on just five shots.
- Anna Whitaker, Fontbonne University (Women's Soccer) Whitaker, a defender, led a Griffin defense that allowed just nine shots in three games with two shutout wins in conference action.
- Nick Wolf, Fontbonne University (Men's Soccer) Wolf recorded two goals and assist last week, helping the Griffins to two conference wins, including the game winner against Greenville.
