This week's SLIAC Game of the Week is an early season meeting between Greenville University and Westminster College. The two teams were picked first and second in the preseason poll and have met in the SLIAC Tournament Championship match in each of the last two years.

Greenville University 'PANTHERS'

Greenville is 7-0 on the season and is coming off three consecutive conference wins last week. Greenville has rolled off four sweeps in their seven wins to start the season. After their match against Westminster, they will play at home on Saturday against Blackburn and Webster. 

Greenville is hitting a conference high .206 this season, averaging 12.04 kills per set. Allyson Mitchell is dangerous from any spot on the court, averaging 3.63 kills per set while hitting .246 on the season. She also leads the conference in service aces with 17. Freshman Anna Finch is leading all SLIAC players with a .383 hitting percentage. 

  

Westminster College 'BLUE JAYS'

Westminster enters the match against Greenville with a 2-7 overall record and is 1-0 in the SLIAC after a 3-2 victory over Fontbonne last week. Following their home match on Wednesday the Blue Jays head back on the road on Saturday for a quad at Fontbonne where they will face Spalding and Fontbonne.

The Blue Jays rank in the middle of the conference in both hitting percentage (.104) and blocks per set (1.31). Sophomore Ashley Kistaitis leads the team with 89 kills while 2015 SLIAC Player of the Year Hannah Marshall is averaging 2.35 kills per set this season. Teresa Becker has taken over as the team's top setter, averaging 8.06 assists per set.
