Game Notes

  • Webster leads the all-time series against Iowa Wesleyan 4-0.
  • Iowa Wesleyan and Webster are two of just three conference teams currently with a winning overall record this season.
  • At 4-3-1 in the final week of September, this marks the latest in a season the Tigers have been above .500 since joining the SLIAC.
  • Webster has made the SLIAC Tournament in all four of Head Coach Mike Siener's previous seasons at the helm.
  • After netting just 25 goals all of last season, the Tigers have tallied 21 goals in just eight games this year.
  • Webster goalie Kyle Hertel currently ranks 3rd in the conference in goals-against average, after finishing 3rd last year as well. If he holds his place this season it would be the first time a Gorlok keeper ranked in the top five of G.A.A. in back to back seasons since Brian Woodward did so three straight years from 2012-14.
