SLIAC MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK - FEBRUARY 12 Davian Joseph, Webster University Davian Joseph, a senior from Philadelphia, Pa., edged out all other nominees to pick up the SLIAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week award. Joseph averaged 11.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 4.0 blocks per game while helping the Gorloks pick up two key conference wins as they continue their chase for the postseason. Joseph finished with 10 points, going 4-of-5 from the floor, with 9 rebounds and 5 assists in a win over Spalding. He followed with 13 points, 12 rebounds, and a career-high 6 blocked shots in a win over MacMurray. On the week he shot 53-percent from the field while totaling eight blocked shots. |

SLIAC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK - FEBRUARY 12 Kendahl Adams, Westminster College Kendahl Adams will remember last week on the court, picking up her third SLIAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week award this season while also breaking the school record for points in a season. Adams averaged 22.0 points and 10.5 rebounds in two contests last week. She started the week with 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists in a win over Iowa Wesleyan. Adams then tallied 25 points and 14 rebounds against Eureka, breaking the previous single-season scoring mark set by Andrea Zalis. Adams is currently averaging 18.9 points and 8.2 rebounds per game this season. |
