Although school is out student-athletes are still competing across the conference in track and field. This week's SLIAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week is Katie Gosser, from Fontbonne University.

     
   

SLIAC WOMEN'S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - May 14, 2018

Katie Gosser, Fontbonne University

Katie Gosser, a sophomore at Fontbonne University, is the SLIAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week for May 14, 2018. Gosser competed in a pair of events for the Griffins at the Montevallo Falcon Classic. She placed 2nd in the heptathlon, totaling 2998 points and setting a new program record. Gosser also had a personal best throw while competing in the javelin.
