SLIAC Coaches vs. Cancer Challenge Collects Over $3,000 (March 22, 2018)
After collections for the annual SLIAC Coaches vs. Cancer partnership, the conference has raised over $3,000 for the American Cancer Society, with all money going directly to The Hope Lodge. This marks the third year that the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has partnered with the American Cancer Society, highlighting Coaches vs. Cancer week with participation conference-wide from league members.....MORE

Robinson Named Spalding Volleyball Head Coach (March 23, 2018)
Spalding University named  Cheneta Robinson its next head volleyball coach, announced Athletic Director Roger Burkman. Robinson, a Fort Wayne, Ind. native, becomes the second coach in program history replacing 20-year head coach Bridget Yates, who retired following the 2017 season.....MORE

SLIAC Game of the Week: Eureka at Fontbonne (March 27, 2018)
This week's SLIAC Game of the Week pits two teams looking to take the next step as Fontbonne University hosts Eureka College in a West Division three-game series over the weekend. Fontbonne, who missed the conference tournament by one game last year, will take on Eureka who, under first-year head coach Jerry Rashid, has already reached half their win total from 2017.....MORE

Blackburn College

Blackburn College senior Tyler Durand was the latest SLIAC Feature Friday interview. Durand, a baseball player for the Beavers, talked all about his love of baseball and told us what superpower he would choose to have. You can see his full interview HERE 

Eureka College

The weather has played a role in game changes this week for the Red Devils. The softball doubleheader originally set for Tuesday against Knox has been moved to April 6. Wednesday's baseball doubleheader against Spalding is rescheduled for April 25 and the softball doubleheader against Iowa Wesleyan has been moved to April 12. 

Fontbonne University

Fontbonne announced their 2018 Hall of Fame class. Being inducted are Pat McCoy (men's basketball), Kate Evers (softball, women's basketball, track and field), Meghan Mulvihill-Taylor (women's basketball), and Kendra Schilli (women's soccer and women's basketball). They will be honored on Saturday, May 12. 

Greenville University

The Panthers baseball team started conference play with a sweep of Eureka last Friday, winning 3-0 and 7-6. Greenville is 7-8 overall this spring and are set to face Principia in a three games series this weekend in Greenville, Illinois.

Iowa Wesleyan University

Iowa Wesleyan will host their fourth consecutive Southeast Iowa Special Olympic Spring Games on April 7, 2018. Each year nearly two hundred athletes from southeast Iowa come to Mount Pleasant, Iowa to compete in track and field events during the games. Athletes compete to qualify for the Special Olympic State Games in Grimes, Iowa. To read the full article click HERE

MacMurray College

The MacMurray men's golf team tied for 3rd place at the Illinois College Spring Classic earlier this week. The Highlanders were led by Caleb Burk, who tied for 4th individually with a 77. Noah Jeckel tied for 12th with a 79 and team carded a 322 for the one-round event.

Principia College

The Principia baseball team opened up conference play with a doubleheader sweep of Iowa Wesleyan on Tuesday. The Panthers took game one 5-3 as Aleq McMullin notched the win and then won game two 7-4 behind 13 hits including three from Ed Bargmann. 

Spalding University

Spalding baseball moved up to #21 in the latest national polls. The Golden Eagles moved up six spots in both the D3baseball.com and the ABCA/Collegiate Baseball polls. Spalding is 14-3 overall this season, with a win over the #1 ranked team in the nation, and are set to face MacMurray in a three-game series this weekend. 

Webster University

The Webster men's golf team finished in 12th place at the Wynlakes Intercollegiate. The Gorloks shot a team score of 627 over 36 holes. Zac Ciesla led the way with a 148, tying for 10th place individually. Next up for Webster, who received votes in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll, is a trip to North Carolina for the Division III Match Play Invitational.

Westminster College

The Westminster softball team continues their road trip with five more contests this week. The Blue Jays last played at home on March 4 and will have played 11 straight road games before they return home to face Principia in a SLIAC doubleheader on April 2.
