Luke Summers was named the SLIAC Diamond Sports Baseball Pitcher of the Week this week after picking up a pair of wins and setting a career high in strikeouts. Summers defeated #20 Spalding, working seven innings in a 4-1 victory. He followed with a seven-inning win over Iowa Wesleyan in which he set a new career mark with 12 strikeouts. He is just one win away from tying the school record for wins in a season and nine strikeouts from the program single-season mark.

Greenville University

The Greenville softball team extended their winning streak to eight games and are in second place in the SLIAC standings with a 13-3 conference record. They close out conference action on Thursday with a doubleheader against Westminster at home.

Iowa Wesleyan University

The Iowa Wesleyan softball split a road doubleheader against Knox on Tuesday, snapping a four-game losing streak by winning the second game. The Tigers are 7-21 overall and 5-10 in conference play this season. They will host Westminster and Webster in conference doubleheaders to close out the season.

MacMurray College

Garrett Nielsen battled for the individual title all tournament long including putting up a second-round best score of 70. He finished 3rd overall with a 221 and earned First Team All-Conference honors.

Webster University

The Webster softball team will be looking for a strong finish to the year in order to secure a spot in the SLIAC Tournament. The Gorloks are 6-6 in SLIAC play, 6th in the standings, but are just one game back in the loss column from 3rd place. They face Blackburn, Spalding, and Iowa Wesleyan this week to close out the regular season.

Westminster College

The Blue Jays softball team is 12-0 in the SLIAC this spring and will face Iowa Wesleyan, Greenville, and Spalding over three straight days to wrap up the regular season.
