Blue Jays Make It Five, Win 2017 SLIAC Championship (Nov. 3, 2017)
The Westminster College Blue Jays made it five straight championships after a 2-1 victory over Principia College on Friday night in the 2017 SLIAC Tournament Championship Game. The Blues Jays extended their conference record streak to five years with a 2017 title, winning as the #4 seed in this year's tournament.....MORE

Gorloks Complete Perfect Conference Season With SLIAC Title (Nov. 4, 2017)
The Webster University women's soccer team completed a perfect conference season by winning the 2017 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament Championship for the second consecutive year. This also marks the second straight year the Gorloks have run the table in conference play for both the regular season and tournament.....MORE

Greenville's Favorite Number, Three (Nov. 5, 2017)
They say things come in three's; three was the magic number for the Greenville University volleyball team on Saturday. The Panthers used a three-game sweep in their semifinals match of the 2017 SLIAC Volleyball Tournament.....MORE

AROUND THE SLIAC

Blackburn College

Blackburn sophomore midfielder Jordan Allen was named to the SLIAC Men's Soccer All-Conference Third Team. Allen, from Danville, Ill., led the Beavers with eight goals and 19 total points. 

Eureka College

Anna Crank wrapped up her Red Devil volleyball career earning SLIAC All-Conference Second Team honors. Crank, from Washburn, Illinois, finished 4th in the conference in kills per set (3.55) while hitting .227 and totaling 375.5 points on the season.

Fontbonne University

The Griffins were well represented on the SLIAC Women's Soccer All-Conference team with Meredith Wendt and Ellen Weaver picking up First Team honors. Maddie Redohl was named Second and Makayla Hussong was named Third Team. Anna Whitaker also received the All-Sportsmanship award.

Greenville University

The volleyball Panthers will be headed to Bloomington, Illinois for the first-round of the NCAA Division III Tournament. Greenville will face Millikin on Thursday at 3 p.m. Other teams in the regional include Washington-St. Louis, Calvin, Carthage, Concordia (Wis.), Chicago, and Illinois Wesleyan. 

Iowa Wesleyan University

The breakout season for the Tigers men's soccer team continued with several Tigers earning All-Conference honors. Blas Villaseca picked up First Team honors while Alejo Vaccaro was named Second Team. Alvaro Sebastian, Eliecer Urena, and Gonzalo Rubio were all named to the Third Team. Also being recognized was Jose Antonio Sanchez Lorenzo on the All-Sportsmanship team.

MacMurray College

MacMurray's Alexis Moore set a new program record for digs, surpassing the previous mark of 617 set by Amber Digs in 2001. Moore, a sophomore, finished the year with 647 digs. 

Principia College

The Panthers volleyball team picked up two of the major conference awards this fall. Mary Ann Sprague was named the SLIAC Co-Coach of the Year; guiding her team to their first tournament appearance since 2013. In addition Mia Gill was named the SLIAC Defensive Player of the Year after leading the conference in digs and digs per set; becoming the first Panther to win the award in program history.

Spalding University

The fall season came to an end for the Spalding women's soccer team with six players earning All-Conference honors. Alnee Tutson led the way with First Team honors. Her teammates Ashlee Wilson and Baylee Tabler picked up Second Team honors and Abby McGimsey, Ali Bumblis, and Kelsie Huffman were named Third Team. McKenna Pfeiffer was also recognized on the All-Sportsmanship team.

Webster University

The Webster women's soccer team squares off against Loras College in the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament. The Gorloks will head to Dubuque, Iowa for their game on Friday. 

Westminster College

The Blue Jays will face Wisconsin-Platteville in the opening round of the NCAA Division III men's soccer tournament. The game will be played in Chicago, Illinois and is hosted by North Park. Game time is set for 5 p.m. and the winner will face the host school on Sunday.
