Donovan, Kent, and Wilson Earn Baseball Preseason All-America Honors (January 11, 2019)
Webster University juniors Shane Donovan and Kyler Kent and Spalding University junior Garrett Wilson were named to the Preseason D3Baseball.com All-American Team that was released late Thursday afternoon. On this year's Preseason All-American Team, Donovan and Wilson were tabbed First-Team selections while Kent earned Second-Team honors.....MORE

Webster Receives National Recognition For Community Service (Jan. 15, 2019)
The Webster University Athletics Department received the highest level of national recognition for its community service from the National Association of Division III Athletic Administrators (NADIIIAA) on Monday afternoon as Webster was named the winner in the "One-Time Activity/Project" category as part of the annual NADIIIAA Community Service Awards.....MORE

AROUND THE SLIAC

Blackburn College

The Beavers women's basketball team picked up a 79-45 win over Principia on Tuesday night, taking control in the first quarter by outscoring the home team 20-8. The Beavers were led by Calista Francis' 19 points off the bench with a total of four players reaching double figures in scoring. 

Eureka College

The Eureka men's basketball team is looking to carry momentum from their win over MacMurray into this week's games against Iowa Wesleyan and Greenville. The Red Devils are 3-5 in conference play and have won two of their last three games. 

Fontbonne University

The Fontbonne men's basketball team has had a week off after their home win over Eureka. The Griffins return to the court tonight with a road game against Spalding. Fontbonne continues their road swing with a game against Webster on Saturday and is 3-4 in conference play at the start of the week.

Greenville University

The men's basketball team remains the only remaining undefeated team in conference play this year. They put their 7-0 record on the line Wednesday against Webster and then will head out on the road to face Eureka on Saturday. Guard Eric Williams is the reigning SLIAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week and is currently second in the league at 23.3 points per game.

Iowa Wesleyan University

The Iowa Wesleyan women's basketball team had a two-game winning streak snapped last week in a loss to Greenville. The Tigers, 2-4 in SLIAC play, return to action on Wednesday night with a home game against Eureka. The Tigers continue their homestand on Saturday against Westminster.

MacMurray College

The MacMurray men's basketball team is in the midst of their longest road trip of the season, a four-game stretch that began with Sunday's game against Eureka. The Highlanders continue to hit the road with games against Westminster (Wednesday), Blackburn (Saturday), and Fontbonne (next Wednesday).

Principia College

Principia's Kaleb Keller finished as the NCAA Division III Statistical Champion for points per game in the 2018 season. Keller tallied 22 goals in 13 games, averaging 3.92 points per game. 

Spalding University

The Golden Eagles currently sit at 5-2 in SLIAC women's basketball play. They have won two straight games and continue a three-game homestand with games against Fontbonne and Principia this week. 

Webster University

The Webster University volleyball team took finished as the NCAA Division III leader in three statistical titles. The Gorloks will receive plaques from the NCAA after leading all teams in digs per set and attacks per set. In addition sophomore libero Kristen Farrah finished as the leader in all divisions in digs per set. 

Westminster College

The Blue Jays men's basketball team has won two of their last three games to push their SLIAC record to 5-2. They return to the court tonight with a home game against MacMurray before hitting the road to face Iowa Wesleyan on Saturday.
