This week's SLIAC Game of the Week is a women's soccer contest between Westminster College and Spalding University. The two teams will meet on Saturday in Louisville, Ky. for their conference-opening contest. Game time is set for 12 p.m. at Champions Trace Field.....MORE
Spalding Goes Back to Back In Women's Golf (Sept. 25, 2018)
Spalding University locked up their second consecutive St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship with a two-day score of 670 The Golden Eagles remained consistent throughout the two-day tournament, shooting a first round 334 and a 336 in the second round.....MORE

Blackburn College The Blackburn men's soccer team notched their first win of the year with a 2-1 victory over Lincoln Christian yesterday. The Beavers took the lead on a goal from Prince Balaba at the 63-minute mark on an assist by Steven Cowles. Cowles followed with a goal of his own eight minutes later with Sam Tomas-Guerrero assisting. |

Eureka College Eureka announced their 2018 Hall of Fame class. It includes Ryan Brewster, James Humphrey, Sandy Schuster, Karen Sweitzer, the 1975 men's golf team, the 1978-79 men's basketball team, and Dr. Richard Sanders. For the full release click HERE |

Fontbonne University The Fontbonne women's soccer team has won two of their last three games as they enter conference play this week. They begin their conference schedule this Saturday against Eureka. Fontbonne is currently 3-5-1 overall this season. |

Greenville University The Greenville women's soccer team responded with back to back losses with a 7-0 win over Maranatha Baptist last Saturday. The Panthers will close out their non-conference schedule today with a game against Illinois College. They begin SLIAC action on Saturday against Iowa Wesleyan. |

Iowa Wesleyan University Hannah Lien led the Tigers at the 2018 SLIAC Women's Golf Championship. Lien earned Second Team All-Conference honors after placing 8th overall with a 183. The Tigers finished 3rd as a team, shooting a 902. In addition, Iowa Wesleyan received the SLIAC Team Sportsmanship award. |

MacMurray College The MacMurray men's soccer team snapped a five-game losing streak with a 1-1 draw against Coe on Tuesday afternoon. The Highlanders tallied the tying goal in the 32nd minute off the foot of Edgar Castillo. Highlander keeper Brantley Estes came up with a diving save on a penalty kick with just 26-seconds left on the clock to keep the game even and finished with nine stops. |

Principia College The Principia men's soccer team scored a pair of goals in each half to walk away with a 4-1 win over Augustana in their final non-conference game this year. The Panthers scored just five minutes in when Cole Heinbaugh scored. Kaleb Keller would go on to add two goals while Jack Rogers notched a goal for the Panthers as well. |

Spalding University For the second straight year, a Golden Eagle walked away as the SLIAC Women's Golf Player of the Year. This season it was Taylor Thompson who grabbed the honors with a 160. In fact, Spalding took the top four spots individually with Thompson followed by Beth Graham, Olivia Schmidt, and Kassidy Wallin. |

Webster University After a tough stretch, the Gorloks volleyball team has responded with back to back conference wins. The Gorloks now sit at 6-7 overall and 4-2 in the SLIAC. They put their winning streak on the line with conference games against Westminster and Iowa Wesleyan this week. |

Westminster College Makayla Jackson and Bailee Zemianek shot career lows for the Blue Jays at the SLIAC Women's Golf Championship. Jackson finished with a 233 and Zemianek a 243. The Blue Jays have two more events this fall; the IW Tiger Classic and MacMurray Invitational. |
