Blue Jays Soar To Women's Soccer Title (Nov. 2, 2018)
Westminster College won their second ever SLIAC Women's Soccer Championship on Friday night in front of their home crowd in thrilling overtime fashion. Westminster, the third seed in the tournament, continued their postseason thrills on their way to the 2018 title. Greenville Complete Run, Take Men's Soccer Title (Nov. 3, 2018)
Greenville University carried their run to the 2018 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Championship, defeating Iowa Wesleyan University 1-0 in front of their home crowd. The Panthers, seeded #3 in the tournament, become just the sixth seed lower than a two seed to win the tournament. The last #3 seed to win the championship was in 2011 when the Panthers won the program's last title.....MORE

Greenville Makes It Four In A Row (Nov. 3, 2018)
The Greenville University volleyball team made it four in a row, powering their way to the 2018 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Championship. Greenville hit a combined .242 in the two matches on the day including putting down a season-high 65 kills in the championship match against Webster......MORE

AROUND THE SLIAC

Blackburn College

The Blackburn program received the 2018 SLIAC Men's Soccer Team Sportsmanship Award. This marks the first time in program history the program has taken home the award, which is given to the team whose players, coaches, and fans best exhibit the principles of good sportsmanship.

Eureka College

A pair of fall athletes earned All-Conference honors for the Red Devils. James Bowen was named to the Men's Soccer Third Team and is just the fourth player in program history to earn All-Conference honors multiple times in their career. On the volleyball court, Lexi Dooley was named to the Third Team after leading Eureka in kills and points per set.

Fontbonne University

The Griffins women's soccer team led all Fontbonne programs with nine All-Conference selections this fall. The men's soccer team had six honorees while Maura Rabun and Victoria Curtice were recognized in volleyball. For a full list of winners visit fontbonnegriffins.com

Greenville University

Greenville had an impressive fall with their sports teams. The Panthers men's cross country, men's soccer, and volleyball programs all won SLIAC Championships. In addition, their women's cross country and women's soccer teams finished second.

Iowa Wesleyan University

The Tigers men's soccer team was well represented on the SLIAC All-Conference team. Fabian Arvizu Sanchez was named Second Team while Hugo Bonilla and Cristian Garcia were both named Third Team. Trevor Haasis was named to the All-Sportsmanship team.

MacMurray College

MacMurray freshman Kamryn Flesner was named the SLIAC Newcomer of the Year, also picking up Second Team All-Conference honors. Flesner is the first Highlander to win Newcomer of the Year since 1995 when Jennifer Otiker received the honor.

Principia College

Kaleb Keller became just the fourth player in conference history to be named SLIAC Men's Soccer Player of the Year multiple times. Keller took home the award for the second straight season after leading the league with 18 goals and 6 assists for 42 total points.

Spalding University

The Golden Eagles men's soccer team placed a conference-high seven players on the 2018 All-Conference team. Kornell Hilliard, Tenko Kono, Faysal Jilani were all named to the First Team. Abnel St. Fleur received Second Team recognition while Asher Benge, Mirza Ugarak, and Trevor Massa all were named Third Team. 

Webster University

Kristen Farrah concluded her sophomore season by taking home SLIAC Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year honors, becoming the first athlete in conference history to take home both awards in the same season. Farrah led the conference, and currently leads all of Division III, in digs per set. 

Westminster College

The Westminster women's soccer team will play in St. Louis, Mo. this weekend as they open up play in the NCAA Division III Tournament. The Blue Jays will face Wash U at 5 p.m. on Saturday with the winner going on to play the winner of the Mt. St. Joseph and Illinois Wesleyan game on Sunday.
