Red Devils Honored for Strength and Conditioning

Four Eureka College student-athletes have received All-American Athlete of the Year awards from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Eureka College Strength and Conditioning Coach Matt Friend announced Friday.

Football junior Ryan Barth (Minonk, Ill./Fieldcrest H.S.), volleyball junior McKenna Cleer (Havana, Ill./Havana H.S.), softball senior Kali George (East Peoria, Ill./East Peoria H.S.) and women's basketball senior Hayley Reneau (Washington, Ill./Washington H.S./Illinois Central) were recognized by the NSA.

The NSCA All-American Strength and Conditioning Athletes of the Year program recognizes those collegiate and high school athletes, whose athletic accomplishments, in the opinion of their strength coach, reflect their dedication to strength training and conditioning.

The athletes are also recognized for their academic and personal accomplishments and their integrity as student-athletes. There are 500 All-American Athletes of the Year for the 2017-2018 school year, representing over 230 schools.
