SLIAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week - Oct. 1
Abe Ott, Principia College

Ott receives his 3rd conference weekly award this season. Ott, a junior from Durango, Colo., raced in the H.W. Wright Classic, helping Principia to an 8th place team finish. Ott completed the difficult 8K course in a time of 27:14, finishing 12th overall. 

       
   

SLIAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week - Oct. 1
Jessie Kuykendall, Westminster College

Jessie Kuykendall wins her 3rd weekly award this season after a 3rd place finish at the H.W. Wright Classic last weekend. Kuykendall completed the 6K race in a time of 23:07. 

       
   

SLIAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week - Oct. 1
Kaleb Keller, Principia College

Keller, a sophomore, tallied a pair of goals in two wins for the Panthers last week. He started the week with two goals and an assist in a 4-1 win over Augustana (Ill.). Keller followed with two more goals, both coming on penalty kicks, in a 3-0 conference victory over Blackburn. He finished the week with nine points on four goals and one assist with two game-winning goals.

       
     

SLIAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week - Oct. 1
David McLeod-Warrick, Principia College

McLeod-Warrick, a senior, stood out in net for the Panthers in two wins last week. He made seven saves in a win over Augustana (Ill.), allowing just one goal. McLeod-Warrick followed with a shutout victory over Blackburn, making one save in the win. On the week he finished with eight saves and an 89-percent save percentage. 

       
     

SLIAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week - Oct. 1
Melissa Kasper, Webster University

Kasper, a junior from Oswego, Ill., had a game to remember against MacMurray. She totaled nine points in the game, tying for the 6th most in school history. Kasper finished the game with three goals, on six shots, and three assists.

       
     

SLIAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week - Oct. 1
Daniele Caruso, Fontbonne University

Daniele Caruso, a senior from St. Louis, Mo., is this week's SLIAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. Caruso helped the Griffins secure a shutout win over conference foe Eureka while adding a goal and an assist in the win. 

       
     

SLIAC Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week - Oct. 1
Anna Finch, Greenville University

Anna Finch had an impressive week on the attack for Greenville last week, hitting .509 in a pair of conference victories. Finch put down 29 kills with just one error, averaging 4.83 kills per set. She had a high of 17 kills in a sweep of Principia and followed with 12 more kills in a sweep of MacMurray. On the week she averaged 5.6 points per set, recording 33.5 points overall.

       
     

SLIAC Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week - Oct. 1
Kristen Farrah, Webster University

Farrah, a sophomore from St. Charles, Mo., picks up her second player of the week award this year. In two wins last week Farrah averaged 9.67 digs per set, totaling 58 digs in the two matches. She had a high of 33 digs in a win over Iowa Wesleyan and has recorded double-digit digs in all 15 matches this season. She currently leads the conference and Division III in digs per set.

  • Matt Coffey, Webster University (Soccer) Played 135 scoreless minutes last week, stopping all shots he faced.
  • Dylan Goodyear, Greenville University (Cross Country) Finished 8K race in a time of 26:33, bettering his previous course time by 1:41. 
  • Allie Kennebeck, Westminster College (Volleyball) Had 13 kills and 6 digs in a win over Spalding.
  • Molly Kovarik, Fontbonne University (Soccer) Netted her second hat-trick of the season with three goals and one assist in a win over Eureka.
  • Jenna Murphy, Iowa Wesleyan University (Volleyball) Totaled 94 digs in four matches last week for the Tigers.
  • Dani Pearce, Greenville University (Soccer) Tallied back-to-back hat-tricks in wins over Illinois College and Iowa Wesleyan.
  • Kelsey Phillips, Spalding University (Cross Country) Set a school record for a 5K race, finishing in 19:47; placing 21st out of 346 runners.
  • Bridget Ringwald, Westminster College (Volleyball) Had 41 digs in a four-set win over Spalding.
  • Natalie Schulte, Westminster College (Soccer) Recorded two goals and one assist in a win over Millikin.
  • Nick Wolf, Fontbonne University (Soccer) Recorded his first collegiate hat-trick in a win over Eureka.
