SLIAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week - Jan. 28
Romo Tabb, Westminster College

Tabb, a senior forward, nearly averaged a double-double over three games for the Blue Jays last week. He opened with a career-high 36 points against Greenville, grabbing 14 rebounds and adding four assists and three blocks. Tabb followed with 21 points and nine rebounds against Blackburn before closing out his week with 13 points against Eureka. Tabb averaged 23.3 points and 9.3 rebounds per game on the week while shooting 64-percent from the field and contributing six assists, five blocks, and two steals.

       
   

SLIAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week - Jan. 28
Alex Martin, Spalding University

Martin, a senior guard from Louisville, Ky., led the Golden Eagles to a pair of conference wins last week. She scored 16 points, while grabbing six rebounds, and dishing out three assists against Eureka. Martin followed with 21 points and seven rebounds against Iowa Wesleyan. She was just as impressive on defense, recording three steals in both games. On the week she averaged 18.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 3.0 steals per game.

  • Kendahl Adams, Westminster College (Women's Basketball) Averaged 18.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game in three contests for the Blue Jays.
  • Addison Beussink, Webster University (Women's Basketball) Scored a career-high 21 points against Iowa Wesleyan, adding eight rebounds.
  • Luke DeLine, Fontbonne University (Men's Basketball) Averaged 20.3 points per game while hitting eight total three-pointers in three games.
  • Raven Venegas, Fontbonne University (Women's Basketball) Averaged 17.7 points and 6.0 rebounds over three wins for the Griffins, shooting 58-percent from the field.
  • Nigel Wilcox, Webster University (Men's Basketball) Averaged 18.0 points and 13.0 rebounds in two wins for the Gorloks.
