Diamond Sports Hitter of the Week
Michael Puckett Jr., Fontbonne University

Michael Puckett Jr. closed out his final week of collegiate baseball by hitting .500 with one home run and four runs batted in over a three-game weekend series to take weekly honors. He had a hit in all three games including a three-hit performance in the second game. Puckett also drove in at least one run in all three games. He finished the series going 5-for-10 at the plate with a .900 slugging percentage. 
     
 

Diamond Sports Pitcher of the Week
Luke Summers, Fontbonne University

Luke Summers picked up his 4th Pitcher of the Week award this season after putting together another dominant outing for the Griffins. Summers, a junior, worked 7 innings while allowing just one run on two hits and striking out 8. The win was the 11th of his season.

  • Adrian Santiago, Webster University (Baseball) Santiago made three relief appearances for the Gorloks, recording two wins and a save.
  • A.J. Smith, Webster University (Baseball) Tallied five hits in four games last week with a hit in all four games.
