Goodyear and Linthicum Chosen Runners of the Year

Dylan Goodyear and Kalleigh Linthicum have been chosen as the Cross Country Runners of the Year in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Goodyear and Linthicum were selected by the coaches from the conference with the runners' full-season race results being considered when voting. This is the third year that the SLIAC has awarded an overall Runner of the Year in both Men's and Women's Cross Country.

Dylan Goodyear, a senior at Greenville University, was the premier runner on the men's side this fall. He paced the Panthers in all six events this season and had four top ten individual finishes including winning his second straight SLIAC Men's Cross Country Championship. He had a top time of 25:55 this season and becomes the second straight Panther to win the award, joining John Mangold.

Kalleigh Linthicum, a junior runner at Webster University, is the first Gorlok to win the Runner of the Year award. Linthicum was the first Gorlok to cross the finish line in all six of the program's races this fall and captured two individual titles including the 2019 SLIAC Women's Cross Country Championship. Linthicum's hard work during the off-season showed this fall when she surpassed her previous 6K personal best time on three occasions; setting a new time of 23:14.
