Fontbonne Receives D3 Diversity Spotlight Initiative
The NCAA National Office announced Fontbonne University is the recipient of the November Division III Diversity Spotlight Initiative.
The athletics department participated in the LGBTQ One Team Facilitator Training on November 13th that included coaches, administrators, sports information, and athletic training. The athletics department also created a Diversity and Inclusion Committee, along with posting resources on the Diversity and Inclusion tab on the website.
The Diversity Spotlight Initiative recognizes and promotes outstanding diversity-related projects, programming and initiatives occurring on Division III campuses and in conference offices. All selected recipients receive $500 toward their next diversity initiative.
