FIVE IN A ROW FOR MacMurray
(May 15, 2018)

MacMurray College kept alive their stretch of SLIAC/SAAC Service Award wins, winning their fifth consecutive overall title. Since the conference first instituted this award in 2013, MacMurray is the only school to take home the end of the year award. MacMurray compiled a conference record 38,517 total points this year thanks to efforts working with local churches and schools as well as various clothing and money drives......MORE

IOWA WESLEYAN HONORED BY MOUNT PLEASANT

Main Street Mount Pleasant nominated Iowa Wesleyan student-athletes for Main Street Partner of the Year for all of the hours the student-athletes spent volunteering at events this fall.  On Friday, April 13th, Main Street Iowa announced that the student-athletes had won Main Street Partner of the Year, and they presented the award at the Main Street Iowa Awards Celebration in Des Moines, Iowa.....MORE

IOWA WESLEYAN RECOGNIZED FOR NCAA TEAMWORKS COMPETITION

SLIAC COACHES VS CANCER RAISES OVER $3,000

After collections for the annual SLIAC Coaches vs. Cancer partnership, the conference has raised over $3,000 for the American Cancer Society, with all money going directly to The Hope Lodge. This marks the third year that the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has partnered with the American Cancer Society, highlighting Coaches vs. Cancer week with participation conference-wide from league members.....MORE

RACE IS ON FOR SLIAC/SAAC SERVICE AWARD

MacMurray College pulled in front of the 2017-18 St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference SAAC Service Award in what is shaping up to be another close race. SLIAC SAAC VISITS HOPE LODGE

Last weekend prior to the fall SLIAC meeting for SAAC, student-athletes from around the conference came together to tour Hope Lodge, a facility run by the American Cancer Society, and visit with the patients and their families. Over 20 student-athletes, coaches, staff members, and conference personal joined in the day; serving lunch to the clients of Hope Lodge and their families.....MORE

SLIAC COMES TOGETHER FOR HURRICANE HARVEY RELIEF

Several schools from across the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference came together and joined the Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. Over the last two weeks schools including Fontbonne University, Greenville University, Iowa Wesleyan University, MacMurray College, Spalding University, and Webster University held clothing and food drives on their campuses to send to Houston, Texas and the surrounding communities.....MORE

PRINCIPIA BEGINS YEAR WITH WEEK OF GIVING
