Women's soccer drops 1-0 contest to Rose-Hulman

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's soccer team battled Rose-Hulman, but the Lady Panthers came up short in a 1-0 loss on Tuesday night.  Rose-Hulman received their goal in the contest's 58th minute.

After a scoreless first half that resulted in just one shot, Greenville posted three shots in the second half to give themselves an opportunity to tie.

The first half resulted in seven shots for Rose-Hulman, and goalkeeper Hope Brakenhoff had six saves.

Caitlin McLoughlin and Corinne Petrunich each gave Greenville one shot on goal.

Whitney Warner added two shots.

The Lady Panthers (0-2) will face Ozarks (Ark.) on Friday at 5 p.m.
