Westminster women's soccer led a defensive battle against Franklin, eventually falling 1-0.
The Blue Jays fall to 3-3 overall with the loss.
Westminster put up a strong defensive effort, despite the loss. In the first half, the gema remained scoreless despite Westminster landing six shots vs. Franklin's 10 shots.
In the second half, Franklin landed a goal early in the 39th minute to take the lead and didn't look back.
Paige Townsend landed five shots during the game. Gracie Koonce saw three shots during the game.
Sarah Cradick played 90 minute in goal, making eight saves.
Westminster continues on the road to face Rose-Hulman Sunday at noon.
