The Basics:
Set 1: After the Beavers tied it 9-9, the Griffins went on a 7-0 run leading comfortably 16-9. Blackburn made things interesting late narrowing the deficit down to 23-21 but the Griffins were able to collect the final two points to secure the opening 25-22 win.
Fontbonne finished with 13 kills and a .087 hitting percentage in the first, while the Beavers had 11 kills.
Set 2: The Beavers this time around took a 12-8 lead on a block assist from Emily Eitzenhefer and Lucy Magnussen. Fontbonne responded in a big way going on a 12-1 run capped off by four straight service aces from Emma Pramik.
Blackburn kept battling and narrowed the deficit down to 20-18, however, the Griffins went on a 4-0 run and went on to secure the 25-21 victory.
Set 3: It was a back-and-forth battle in the third but a kill from Jordan Harpel evened up the board, 14-14. Blackburn went on a 4-0 run with Sabrina Kelsey's kill giving them a 19-15 lead and forcing Fontbonne to take a timeout.
Out of the timeout, the Beavers never relinquished its lead the rest of the way going on for the 25-20 victory.
Set 4: In the fourth, the Griffins put the match away early taking a 13-3 lead on Jadyn Fitzgerald's kill. Fontbonne saved its best set for last totaling a match-high 15 kills and .190 hitting percentage en route to the 25-16 win.

- Fontbonne finished with a season-high 52 kills.
- At the service line, the team posted a season-high 12 aces.
- Kristen Kaempfe posted her first collegiate double-double with a season-high 16 kills and 17 digs.
- Jadyn Fitzgerald added 13 kills and seven digs.
- Lizzy Harvey finished with eight kills.
- Ella Werner-Click earned her sixth career double-double with 40 assists and 19 digs.
- Emma Pramik filled up the stat sheet with 22 digs and a career-high eight service aces.
