Women's volleyball runs season mark to 17-5

MONMOUTH, Ill. - The women's volleyball team earned a pair of three set wins against Beloit and Monmouth on Saturday.

In the day's opening match, Greenville gained a 25-11, 25-12, 25-15 win against Beloit.

Emily Stahl had a solid match, picking up nine kills without an error in 13 attacks. She ended with a hitting percentage of .692. Stahl also added three solo blocks.

Lauren Spivey provided seven kills, and Anna Finch and Payten Morris each had six.

Sacorra Patton paced Greenville's defensive effort with 10 digs.

In the final match of the weekend, the Panthers earned their second win against Monmouth this season. This time, Greenville was a 25-18, 25-22, 25-21 winner.

Patton provided a team-high nine kills in the win.

Greenville had a prolific back row with three women reaching double figures in digs. Chasity Hill led Greenville with 27 digs. Patton provided 13 digs, and Jordan Lempa posted 12 digs.

At the net, Stahl provided two solo blocks and one block assist.

The Panthers (17-5) travel to Westminster on Wednesday night for a match at 7 p.m.
