Women’s Soccer Team Gives Up Late Goals In Loss

Greenville, Ill.-Greenville College scored three goals in the final 20 minutes of the match to upend the women's soccer team 3-0 Friday night in Illinois.
 
Ozarks (1-3-0) pitched a shutout in the first half, and continued its strong play for most of the second half. In the first half, Ozarks had three shots, while Greenville (1-2-0) recorded four. Corner kicks were close, too, as Greenville held a slight 3-2 advantage. Eventually in the second half, Greenville broke through the Eagles' defense and scored. Following its goal in the 71st minute, Greenville added another in the 78th minute and the 83rd minute.

Tiffany Robinson and Frances Adams paced Ozarks with two shots.

Ozarks will face Principia College September 10.
