HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- The women's tennis team had several tight matches but were not able to win any as they lost 9-0 to Nazareth.
The doubles matches went to Nazareth, but the No. 1 combination of Bailey Pearce and Emma Wieland were in their match with an 8-6 loss.
In singles, No. 1 Pearce went to a 10-3 tiebreaker that she dropped. No. 3 Courtney Blaser lost in a 10-2 tiebreaker, and No. 6 Annie Bellinger had a 7-6 second set in her loss.
The Panthers (1-2) face St. Mary's (Maryland) on Wednesday in Hilton Head.
