GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's volleyball team recorded a pair of three set wins on Tuesday at home. The Panthers topped Knox in an afternoon match and capped the evening with a win over St. Mary-of-the-Woods.
In the match against Knox, Greenville received 10 kills from Brittni Bell and eight killls from Abby Freeman.
Allyson Mitchell recorded 12 1/2 points with six kills, six service aces, and a block assist.
Anna Finch picked up two solo blocks and two block assists.
Freeman piled up 16 points against St. Mary-of-the-Woods as she had 14 kills and two service aces.
Mitchell gave GU another double digit point effort with 13 1/2 points. She had 13 kills and a block assist.
Allyson Grabowski was at the top of the charts defensively with 14 digs.
The Panthers (21-4) reached the 20 win plateau for the eighth straight season, and they host MacMurray on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the final SLIAC match and last home match of the season.
