Women's volleyball outplays MacMurray

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. -- The women's volleyball team recorded a three set victory at MacMurray on Thursday night.  Greenville won 25-14, 25-21, 25-22 as they took control in the opening set and maintained that momentum through the 75 minute match.

Anna Finch paced Greenville's offensive attack with 13 kills, three service aces, and two block assists as she posted 17 points.  She hit at a season-best .691 rate as she did not commit any attacking errors in 21 attempts.

Allyson Mitchell provided 13 kills and was a part of three blocks - one solo and two block assists.

Abby Quirin was Greenville's assist leader with 21 in three sets.

Allyson Grabowski was active in defense of MacMurray's attack with a team-high 13 digs.

The Panthers (9-3, 5-2 SLIAC) will travel to Iowa Wesleyan for a pair of matches on Saturday.
