Women's volleyball splits at Millikin

DECATUR, Ill. -- The women's volleyball team played two matches at Millikin on Friday and came up with a win and loss.

The Lady Panthers defeated Kenyon 25-19, 25-20, 25-19 in the first match before falling 26-24, 25-22, 25-16 to Millikin.

Allyson Mitchell provided 17 kils and 10 digs against Kenyon, and Kirsten Laune had 36 assists.

Brittni Bell gave Greenville six block assists, and Savannah Sells had five block assists.

The second match saw Mitchell lead the way in kills again with 13.  Laune tallied 26 assists.

Emily Thebeau had 12 digs.  Sells and Sierah Ruffner posted three block assists.

The Lady Panthers (14-5) travel to MacMurray to face Spalding and MacMurray on Saturday.
