Men's soccer drops match against Fontbonne on early penalty kick

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The men's soccer team slipped behind early when they allowed a penalty kick goal in the second minute of the game, and they did not take advantage of their 13-8 lead in shots as Fontbonne hung them with 1-0 loss in SLIAC play on Saturday night.

Greenville's Juan Jose Herranz and Jared McPeek each took three shots for the Panthers.

Napoleon Urquidi also provided a pair of shots.

Goalkeeper Nick Holland protected the net for the Panthers with five saves in the match.

The Panthers (10-3, 2-1 SLIAC) face Principia on Tuesday night at 5 p.m. in Greenville.
