Women's volleyball wraps up undefeated SLIAC slate

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The women's volleyball team became the first SLIAC volleyball squad to go undefeated in league play since 2009 with a 25-19, 25-19, 25-20 victory at Spalding on Tuesday night.

Anna Finch provided a nearly perfect match on the attack for Greenville, tallying 11 kills in 25 attacks to post a kill percentage of .440.

Emily Stahl ended with a hitting percentage of .412 with 10 kills and three errors over 17 attacks.

Lauren Spivey posted one solo block and two block assists at the net, and Chasity Hill ended with 21 digs.

The No. 1 seed Panthers (22-6, 12-0 SLIAC) will host the SLIAC tournament on Saturday, Nov. 6 in Greenville. GU will host the lowest remaining seed that survives Thursday night's quarterfinals between No. 3 Spalding and No. 6 Blackburn or No. 4 Fontbonne and No. 5 Webster. The GU match on Saturday will have its first serve at 11 a.m.
