TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Westminster women's soccer dropped a 4-2 decision against Rose-Hulman.
The Blue Jays fall to 3-4 with the loss.
Westminster got on the board first with a goal from Gracie Koonce on an assist from Paige Townsend in the fourth minute.
Townsend netted a goal of her own in the 17th minute, her eighth of the season, to give the Blue Jays an early 2-0 lead.
Despite the strong start, Westminster wouldn't score again and allowed four more goals to give up the win.
Townsend led the team with six shots. Sarah Cradick played all 90 minutes in goal, making seven saves.
Westminster begins conference play Saturday, Sept. 30 at Blackburn.
