Women's volleyball stays undefeated in SLIAC

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The women's volleyball team collected a 25-9, 25-17, 25-15 victory over Spalding on Friday night in H.J. Long Gymnasium.  Jasmin Smith managed to lead the Greenville team in kills with 12 and added a service ace to finish with 13 points.  She completed a double-double by adding 14 digs.

The Panthers hit well throughout the match, compiling 44 kills and nine errors in 94 attacks and finished with a hitting rate of .372.  Greenville had an amazing third set with 19 kills, two errors, 39 attacks, and a hitting rate of .436.

Emily Stahl also reached double digits in points, producing eight kills, one service ace, two solo blocks, and three block assists for an ending point total of 12 1/2.

Anna Finch had 10 points with eight kills and four block assists.

Chasity Hill added a team-leading 16 digs for Greenville.

The Panthers (13-3, 6-0 SLIAC) travel to St. Louis on Saturday for a tri-match against nationally ranked teams from Washington-St. Louis and Wisconsin-Whitewater.
