GREENVILLE, Ill. - Westminster baseball took one game in a doubleheader against Greenville, which moved their win streak to six before falling in game two.

The Blue Jays move to 12-9 overall and 7-3 in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. 

In game one, Greenville opened the scoring with a two-run homerun in the first, but that would be the only Panthers to cross the plate in the game. 

Westminster went on to score in five of the seven innings of the game, starting with a Zach Stiles RBI single in the second to score both Ryan Klimkiewicz and Brandon Beeler to tie the game. 

Four more Blue Jays added RBI, including Beeler on an RBI groundout and RBI singles from Blake Strebler and Zach Eisenreich. Mason Price capped off the Westminster scoring with a solo homerun in the seventh. 

Ian Cassidy earned the win to go 5-1 on the year, giving up two runs on 12 hits. 

Westminster continued to hit in the second game, but the defense slowed to give up 16 runs to the Panthers. 

The Blue Jays got off to a hot start offensively, scoring five of their six runs in the first inning. Price added a double to score two runs, Stiles hit another single for two more RBI, and Adam Mundle, who went 3-4 on the day, finished the inning with a RBI single to centerfield. 

The Panthers went on to score 15 more runs over the next five innings to take the 15-5 lead after five innings. 

Beeler added a double in the seventh to earn a run back, but the Panthers ended up taking game two 16-6 over Westminster. 

Alex Dickneite pitched 3.2 innings, giving up 10 runs on 11 hits to move to 1-2 on the year. Sean Markley and Braden Beasley also pitched a combined three innings in relief. 

Westminster returns home to take on Spalding for a Saturday doubleheader with first pitch at 12 p.m.
