Westminster Women's Volleyball Wins Twice in SLIAC Play

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - Over the weekend, Westminster volleyball added two more conference wins to remain undefeated in SLIAC play.

With the wins, Westminster improves to 9-3 overall and 7-0 in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. 

The Blue Jays faced Eureka in the first match of the day, which went to a full five sets. After dropping the first and second sets, Westminster recovered to win the match 3-2. 

Allie Kennebeck led the way for kills with 16, while Jill Reando added 21 assists. Bridget Ringwald continued to be a force in the back row, recording a team-high 24 digs. 

In game two of the day Saturday, the Blue Jays swept Blackburn 3-0. 

Kennebeck again led the way for the offense with 10 kills. Reando earned 22 assists and Teresa Becker recorded 22 digs for Westminster. 

The Blue Jays return home Wednesday to face Webster at 7 p.m. in the Historic Gym.
