Women's Volleyball Drops 3-0 Outing Against No. 16 Greenville

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University women's volleyball team saw its three-game win streak get snapped against No. 16 Greenville on Thursday night.

Final: No. 16 Greenville 3, Fontbonne 0

Set Breakdown

Set 1: After trailing 10-9, the Griffins went on a 4-0 run to lead 13-10 on Olivia Tallo's kill. Greenville was able to retake the lead but the Griffins hung around with Kelly Herr slamming down the kill to make it a 19-19 contest. However, the Panthers closed out the set on a 6-0 run en route to the 25-19 win.

Set 2: Greenville held the early lead but two attack errors and a kill from Hannah Gallagher evened it up, 13-13. The Panthers answered with a 4-0 run and never looked back going on for the 25-18 win on Emily Stahl's kill.

Set 3: The Panthers held the early lead but Fontbonne was right there at 8-7 on Jadyn Fitzgerald's kill. Greenville went on an 8-1 run and were able to go on for the 25-13 set and match win.

• Fontbonne finished with 31 kills and a .129 hitting percentage.
• Greenville rounded out with 46 kills and a .280 hitting percentage.
• Defensively, the Panthers came away with 63 digs and 12 block assists.

• Hannah Gallagher led with a game-high 11 kills and .222 hitting percentage.
• Jadyn Fitzgerald added eight kills, while Olivia Tallo and Kelly Herr added six and five, respectively.
• Setter Ella Werner dished out 27 assists.
• Emma Pramik led with a team-high 13 digs, while Rae Andrews contributed 10.
