Balanced Attack from Westminster Women's Soccer Leads to Victory

Mt. St. Pleasant, Iowa - Westminster women's soccer tallied six goals from four different players to record a 6-0 shutout of Iowa Wesleyan.

The Blue Jays improve to 8-6 overall and 5-2 in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. 

The Westminster offense did most of its damage in the first half, with four goals coming from Natalie Schulte and Gracie Koonce

Paige Townsend and Isabel Peng tallied the final goals for Westminster in the opening minutes of the first half to end the scoring bout for Westminster. 

Emma Bergman played in goal for the Blue Jays and the strong defense didn't allow a single shot from the Tiger offense. 

Townsend led the offensive attack with seven shots. 

Westminster stays on the road to face Principia Tuesday.
