- Reigning SLIAC Defensive Player of the Year Mary Beers earned a single season record goals against average of .26 in 2021.
- Beers needs eight shutouts to become the all-time leader at Fontbonne.
- Caroline Neal currently sits in ninth in career goals (23) and points (59).
- Krystal Kohenskey sits near the top 10 with 13 career assists in her first season at Fontbonne.
Carthage Notes
- After going 7-8-2 in 2019, the Firebirds are off to a 1-2 start in 2021.
- The team earned its first win on September 4th with a 2-1 (2OT) win over Luther.
- On September 5th, the Firebirds fell 2-1 against Albion in its Battle on the Border Tournament.
- Offensively, the Firebirds average 14.0 shots per game.
- Kate Cochran, Amelia Price, and Morgan Verbeten each have scored a goal.
- In net, Sara Lieffrig has a 1.56 goals against average and made 12 saves.
Loras Notes
- The Duhawks are coming off a 7-1 season in the spring of 2021.
- This year, they've picked up right where left off with three shutout wins over St. Norbert (2-0), Dominican (1-0), and Concordia College (5-0).
- They return all six All-Conference players from last year.
- Loras averages 18.3 shots per game and limited its opponents thus far to 3.7.
- Erin Rieckens and Abby Eriksen are tied with two goals each.
- Payton McDonnell, who tied Kohenskey with 13 assists last year, already has three thus far.
- In goal, Kyndal Kells made 10 saves.
