Women's soccer defeated by Knox in second half comeback

GALESBURG, Ill. -- The women's soccer team held a 1-0 lead at halftime, but Knox posted six unanswered second half goals in their 6-1 win over Greenville on Saturday.

Dani Pearce put the Panthers on the scoreboard in the first half with an assist from Suzi Conner.

Pearce posted two shots in the match to lead Greenville's squad.

Knox held a 13-3 advantage in shots after one half and extended their shot advantage to 24-7 by the end of the game. 

Megan Taylor debuted as goalkeeper and recorded eight saves.

The Panthers (2-4) go to Illinois College for a match on Wednesday.
