GREENVILLE, Ill. - The women's soccer team picked up two goals from sophomore Dani Pearce and an opening goal from Jamie Schollenbruch as they gained a 3-0 win over Ozarks (AR) on Friday night.
The game was scoreless until the 70th minute when Schollenbruch's scoring strike gave Greenville a 1-0 lead. Pearce and Breanna Thomas assisted on Schollenbruch's goal.
Pearce added a late goal in the 78th minute and scored on a penalty kick in the 83rd minute.
Schollenbruch and Thomas assisted Pearce's first goal.
The Lady Panthers outshot Ozarks by a 9-6 margin.
Goalkeepers Hope Brakenhoff and Lourdes Machado combined on the shutout. Brakenhoff produced three saves.
The Lady Panthers (1-2) host Rockford on Saturday night at 5 p.m.
