Women's basketball advances with 22-point win

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's basketball team defeated Trinity Christian 64-42 on Friday night to move into the NCCAA regional championship game against Northwestern.

Greenville's defense held Trinity Christian to a shooting percentage of less than 25 percent as the Lady Panthers outscored the Trolls in each quarter.

Laura Goodnight paced Greenville's offense with 11 points.  Taylor Paulin and Morgan St. James each added 10 points.

Paulin came away with an astounding 11 rebounds, and Claire Schmitt provided six assists.

The Lady Panthers (19-9) will play at 2 p.m. on Saturday with a berth in the NCCAA national championships on the line.
