Women's volleyball takes set, falls in four to No. 15 Washington-St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The women's volleyball team won the second set and played tight with No. 15 Washington-St. Louis in the third set as they took a 25-13, 23-25, 25-22, 25-18 loss on Wednesday night.

The Lady Panthers hit at a .278 rate in the third set as they were led by Allyson Mitchell's 12 kill effort.

Savannah Sells had nine kills for Greenville, and Cheyenne Vaca produced three service aces.

Janisha Pealer posted 18 digs as she led the Lady Panther defense.

Brittni Bell helped at the net with four block assists.

The Lady Panthers (20-7) travel to Spalding on Saturday where they will play the host and MacMurray.
