Men's soccer returns to win column with 4-0 shutout over Principia

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The men's soccer team picked up a 4-0 shutout win over Principia on Tuesday night at Francis Field.

Luis Duran scored Greenville's first goal in the 26th minute with assists from Jared McPeek and Benn Jane. Jane added his first goal of the season just two minutes later on a penalty kick.

In the second half, Eric Miller headed the ball past the Principia goalkeeper as Jane and Napoleon Urquidi assisted.

Duran capped the match with his second goal and fourth of season in the 70th minute.

Goalkeeper Pedro Vebber produced a clean sheet for Greenville with four saves.

The Panthers (5-6, 3-2 SLIAC) host Webster on Saturday at 5 p.m.
