Women's soccer comes up short at Webster

FENTON, Mo. -- In a match that likely gave the winner the highest seed and home field advantage in the SLIAC women's soccer tournament, the women's soccer team was shutout 4-0 by Webster on Tuesday.

Greenville found themselves on the defensive all night as Webster put 28 shots on the scoreboard.

The Panthers only allowed one first half goal before the Gorloks gained three second half goals.

Greenville's Dani Pearce and Suzi Conner had shots on goal during the match.

Goalkeeper Hope Brakenhoff collected 12 saves as she dealt with 16 shots on goal.

The Panthers (12-6, 6-2 SLIAC) go to Blackburn for their final regular season match on Saturday.
